I have made a complete and utter disaster of my kitchen. Mum's been on a crusade to become a vegetarian and bring the rest of the family with her. I feel sorry for Dad and Andrew mostly, but she sent over a few recipes convinced that I'd like them and see the light. I figured I'd give one a go - if for no other reason than being able to say I tried it - and the result?
THE BIGGEST MESS EVER.
And only so-so food. I think I'll be having takeout for the next few days.
Also, I really miss my family. I got a letter from Justin yesterday from a mangy looking owl I'd never seen before. It was pretty much to tell me that he's still alive and free, I suppose. He's gone on again about how he thinks it's safe that neither of us know where the other one is. "Just in case."
He really drives me insane.
